Warmth and Comfort at The Ginney
From the moment we arrived, we felt like old friends with Linda and Philip. The delicious breakfast options, including real black pudding and crackling bacon, set us up perfectly for our adventures in the Lake District. Our cozy, spacious room provided everything we needed for a restful stay, right down to fresh milk for our tea. Exploring the nearby hills was a breeze from such a centrally located guest house.
While the charm of our accommodation was undeniable, the lack of windows for ventilation could make warmer days slightly uncomfortable. the bathroom fan was operational but quite noisy during use, though it did its job effectively.

We enjoyed a fantastic stay in the countryside with my son's family. Linda and Phillip were amazing hosts, making us feel like part of the family from the start. The kids loved exploring the local lakes and all the scenic hiking spots nearby.
My wife says that a play area would be great for kids.

this place is really amazin! the hosts, linda and philip, were super welcoming and helped us decorate for a special birthday. breakfast was top-notch and the room was really comfy and clean. there were lotsa great little touches like wine glasses and a proper bottle opener. overall, it felt like a real home away from home for us and it made my fam really happy!
but the windows didn't open for fresh air, and the bathroom fan was kinda loud when using it.
